CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Maggie has thirty years’ experience in consultancy, having worked for a range of large and small consulting and technology businesses before joining Principle One. Her focus is on setting company direction, building customer and partner relationships and driving growth. Maggie has also driven the development of a strong social value programme enabling staff to give back in a range of different ways.

Principle One is about delivering the best value to our customers, which we can do through bringing together multi-disciplinary teams, combining domain expertise and strong technology skills. We can respond quickly, be flexible in our approach and stay focused on our customers and their challenges. At heart, we are problem solvers – with a passion for making a difference, both in supporting our customers achieve their mission and in working with our partners on causes such as tackling social inequality, championing diversity and promoting good mental health.

Al

ENGINEERING DIRECTOR

Al combines customer facing work with setting the engineering direction for Principle One. He has over twenty years’ experience in the design and delivery of mission critical systems for UK Law Enforcement and National Security customers, which has led him to look to develop new ways of working to accelerate delivery within the constraints of the environment.

Our customers can no longer plan systems delivery in terms of multi-year programmes. They need to develop new ways of working that deal with rapidly changing circumstances and manage ambiguity in requirements. We’ve developed an approach that is grounded in systems thinking to work at pace on complex, large scale deliveries, using modelling techniques to bring clarity and coherence to our customers and the solutions we build.

Ben

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ben has worked in large scale programme delivery in the public sector with a particular focus on Law Enforcement and Public Health. He combines oversight of our customer delivery portfolio with a role as Principle One’s Chief Operating Officer, taking responsibility for scaling our systems and processes as our business grows while ensuring we remain lean and focused on customer delivery.

Setting up Principle One has been an opportunity for Maggie, Al and I to create an organisation that we wanted to be part of and would provide the best possible environment for our staff to progress their careers. Our hands on approach to career mentoring means that we stay close to our staff, understand their experience and aspirations and avoid an unwieldy and disconnected back office.
